When I first saw Georgie's from the outside, it had a diner feel. After entering the restaurant, the breathtaking ocean view captured my attention. Then, friendly customer service and fantastic food followed. Positioned Ocean front with large open windows all around the restaurant. Created an Open and relaxing atmosphere. we came here twice during our stay in New Port, Oregon, for both breakfast and dinner. the breakfast was hearty, delicious and satisfing. Seafood bowl was to die for. Dinner: quality steak and seafood, tasty cocktails. Menu is reasonably priced given the quality and portions per order. Highly recommended by IG@WineDinenVacay
Fabulous food and ocean views. Our server, Ashlyn was friendly and handled our large high maintenance party with grace and humor. 10/10 stars for service and food.
Service was great, ambiance was wonderful looking out at the ocean. Food was impeccably prepared and best halibut I've ever had. Sister had the grass fed beef sliders and raved!! We'll be back for the steaks we've heard melt in your mouth
I know, you go to Georgie's for seafood. I come here for steaks chili, which is the best I've ever had in a restaurant, and today I splurged and had the ribs special at lunchtime. They were the best I've ever had in a restaurant.!! Tender, amazing barbecue sauce! I will pray that the ribs will be the special every time I come to Georgie's!!!
We were seated quickly for lunch. Had a great view of the ocean. Our waitress was awesome, she gave great recommendations. My husband and I wanted to split both of our plates and she brought both orders out split, so we didn't have to do it. Food was fresh. Loved the crab cake Benedict! It was soo good! Full of flavor big crab cake with lots of crab! Their blackened cod tacos, and pan fried oysters were equally delicious. My daughter ordered chicken teriyaki bowl since she's not a big seafood fan and even that was amazing and big portion. They also cater to kids, inside the kids menu is a ticket that the child can take up front at the end and pick out a toy! My kids loved it and are asking to go back. Great restaurant and so glad we visited for lunch!
This is an easy place to grab some food and drink at the bar. Service is usually super friendly and they have a good selection of beer and liquor. Enjoyed a pretty tasty Bloody Maria with a spicy rim.
Overall, it's a decent restaurant. Most of the food we had was average, a few things were really good. Nothing was bad. They have a nice kids menu. Nice dine in atmosphere, service was average. This place fits in with a handful of other similar restaurants around Newport, I didn't have anything I would go back for. I would say it's a reliable place to at least get an average meal for a reasonable price.
